Since the opening of Scenic Hudson’s Long Dock Park in 2011, it has become one of the area’s most popular places to connect with the Hudson River.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY—Three years ago Scenic Hudson celebrated more than a decade of work and an $8.5 million public-private investment that turned a derelict former industrial site and scrapyard into a beautiful riverfront attraction—Scenic Hudson’s Long Dock Park. A cleanup approved by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) preceded the park development and involved removal of contaminated soils in areas of the site now enjoyed as a park.
