Scenic Hudson seeks volunteers to monitor amphibian populations at Black Creek Preserve. On the training day, you’ll learn how to identify various species of frogs and salamanders, and then we’ll hike through the woods, lifting pre-placed cover boards to see if any are hiding beneath them.

Join us on National Trails Day as we begin building the purple trail on this brand new park. We are looking for trail builders of all abilities to lop branches, rake and bench cut.
